Teachers Profile

Rahul Ji

“Teaching yoga is the overflow of your own growth.”

Rahul Ji is a passionately committed teacher of Yoga, having diligently internalised all aspects of yogic knowledge. After growing up in a small village on the outskirts of Delhi in an encouraging yogic family, he pursued a career as a concept designer in Delhi. Outside of work he continued his spiritual growth through his own studies of ancient texts and scriptures. Soon, a series of experiences illuminated to him transcendental truths that inspired him to leave his job and immerse himself in the sacred yogic world.

He studied at the Ashram of Swami Rama, strengthening his spiritual practice while comprehensively learning Yoga and meditation according to the Himalayan Tradition under the guidance of the renowned master Swami Veda Bharati. He went on to study in a Gurukulam (traditional spiritual school) where he became part of the Himalayan Yoga Tradition of teachers. He has shared his knowledge of Yoga and meditation in ashrams, yoga schools, and international yoga festivals around the world, integrating techniques from many Yoga paths including Hatha Yoga, Dhyana Yoga, Raja Yoga, and Kriya Yoga. His work integrates body, mind, and spirit into a holistic practice that helps his students explore the depths of their inner selves, thereby living a healthy and fulfilling life.

Elli Ji

“The practice of Yoga helps one to build the bridge between science and spirituality.”

Elli has always been curious about the function and purpose of life. To get a deeper understanding of the structure of the human mind and body she studied human biology at the University of Erlangen and Vienna, earning her MSc with a focus on brain research and behavioral endocrinology. She fostered her passion for a holistic lifestyle by learning Traditional Chinese Medicine, specifically western herbs and acupuncture as well as hypnosis and lucid dreaming as healing techniques. After studying Yoga in India, she came to know that all questions asked in sciences can be answered within oneself.

To deepen her studies, she went on long term travels through India, Sri Lanka and Nepal where she learned many different Yogic traditions while living in ashrams in the traditional Sadhaka (student) lifestyle. Through her personal experiences, she cultivated the healing powers of the mind and healed various “chronic” diseases without the assistance of medications. With compassion for all beings, she wants to share the benefits of Yogic knowledge with all truth seekers. Her approach of western sciences combined with ancient eastern methods provides a practical holistic approach, allowing her students improve their life quality, reduce suffering, and find a benevolent way of living as an individual and as part of the human global society.
